HRH receives five foreign envoys
HIS Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, yesterday received in separate audiences four newly-appointed ambassadors to Brunei Darussalam at Balai Penghadapan, Bukit Kayangan.
His Royal Highness first met the Ambassador of the Union of Myanmar His Excellency Thura Thet Oo Maung, followed by His Excellency Louis Le Vert of the Republic of France; His Excellency William Edward Todd of the United States of America and His Excellency Dr Thomas Bruns of the Federal Republic of Germany.
During the audiences His Royal Highness and the foreign envoys discussed matters of bilateral importance.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade also received in audience Gudmundur Eiriksson, Special Envoy for Her Excellency Ingibjorg Solrun Gisladottir, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of the Republic of Iceland.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness and the special envoy discussed relations between the two countries. Gudmundur Eiriksson is in the country for a four-day visit. (RSH1)
