Bigfoot Spotted Near Tahlequah, OK

Recent reports from Tahlequah, OK indicate local Bigfoot activity is once again on the rise in Cherokee Co., a long-standing bastion for Sasquatch sightings.

A creature of such description was spotted on Highway 82 near Gideon, OK. It has been said that witnesses felt the ground reverberate as the creature dashed away, leaving behind footprints in the soft soil. Its skunky odor clung in the air for some time.

Gideon resident, Sheryl Mast, claims the creature slapped the side of the trailer where she has lived for the past year. The creature first began showing up in February 2008. Now, she states, the creature is somewhat of a regular caller to her isolated home. And its approaches have grown bolder.

In the last weeks of June, the creature upped its ante. It banged on the trailer door, breaking the lock, and fled with the thunderous vibrations of its mass being felt inside. The entire incident lasted approximately five minutes.

Mast says on June 29th, she and her boyfriend smelled its stench and then heard a commotion from her dog pen. She says "something" broke the door nearly in half, leaving behind a beer bottle. Does Sasquatch drink, I wonder? The homeowner claims that on other occasions, this creature has left signs of its visit in the form of strewn trash and broken limbs, and possibly physically attacking her dogs.

The dogs have been seen, on occasion, chasing something hairy into the underbrush. Mast believes her recent intrusion onto this land, which rests between two creeks, has disrupted the patterns of this creature. It is trying to defend its territory, as it were. While not yet afraid, she feels a confrontation is mounting.
